Razorfish is looking for a Sr. UI Designer with specific experience in user-centered digital design and the ability to translate a brand identity into a design system. Working in close collaboration with a multi-disciplinary client delivery team, you will reimagine, redesign, and rebuild a product design App experience.
You are a master of visual digital design, specifically user-centered interface design, platform/site design, and product design. You may even dabble in motion design on the side.
You live and breathe design systems and are comfortable evolving existing systems and building new elements from scratch.
While not a UX designer, you will be partnering with UX teams and should have a solid understanding of UX design principles and processes. You also aren’t afraid of building the occasional prototype.
You are equal parts conceptual and executional, with an ability to ideate alongside a Creative Director and then drop back in the weeds to execute on that vision.
You are a natural leader with outstanding communication skills and are comfortable presenting and selling work, iterating with clients, and guiding creative design.
You understand the power of a logical, systematic, intuitive, intelligently-designed user experience to help customers accomplish their tasks quickly and efficiently but also know how to balance beauty and functionality.
You are passionate about the creative world and love to stay on top of the latest trends in digital design trends, strategies, and technologies as well as how competitors within the industry are doing things.
You’ve been doing this for a while (maybe 5-8 years or so) and are comfortable working both independently and collaboratively.
You are flexible, nimble, and able to adjust to constantly shifting needs and priorities.
You bring joy and passion to your work and to the team around you. For you, ego is a four-letter word.
You are naturally curious with a desire to experiment, innovate, and stay on the cutting edge of digital creative.
You have an incredible portfolio showcasing beautiful, modern digital design that demonstrates your experience working on design systems, sites, and products for large brands.
Bachelor’s Degree in graphic design, art, advertising, marketing, or a related field preferred.
5-8 years of professional design experience with a specific focus on digital visual, interface, platform, or product design.
Prior experience designing and evolving design systems for large brands.
Prior experience serving as a conceptual and/or executional lead for the visual side of experience builds for large-scale product design or ecommerce designs.
Deep understanding of best practices and current trends across design and customer-centric communications, user-centered experience design, and digital design.
Prior experience prototyping using Principal, Invision, or similar tools a plus.
Knowledge of the latest concepts, trends, and technologies in digital design.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills as well as an ability to work directly with clients to present, sell, explain, and iterate on work across all stages of the design process.
Highly proficient with standard design tools, specifically Adobe Creative Suite and Figma.
Prior experience managing, mentoring, and guiding junior designers is a plus.
Exceptional creative chops with an ability to think logically and systematically.
A natural curiosity with a desire to experiment innovate try new things and constantly be challenged.
Flexibility, adaptability, and a positive outlook. No egos allowed.
